Fresh Off The Page | The London Literature Festival 2008

Project: Fresh Off The Page @ The Southbank Centre from Yemisi Blake on Vimeo.

Put together by a team of young curators mentored by Southbank Centre Emerging Artist in Residence Yemisi Blake.

These Streets Sound Like LDN City is a show exclusively brought to you by Fresh Off The Page, which merges the lyrical talents of London's up-and-coming spoken word and music artists.

Part of the London Literature Festival, 'These Streets Sound Like...' brings a harmonious blend of upbeat tones, fresh rhythms, bursting with lyrical flavour. Remember this ain't another English lesson, its a lesson of life.

Featuring Warsan Shire, Symeon Brown, ShortMAN, Imhotep, Szjerdene, Stephanie Santiago, DJ Arran and other special guests.
