Pat *heart* Anna - 75
Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 09:20
A couple of months back I posted a picture of a something I'd come across on Hungerford Bridge. Someone had placed a padlock on the railing and had written 'Anna *heart* Pat on the front of it. At the time I thought it was a cool prank. But I've since been reading Keri Smith's Guerilla Art Kit and I'm starting to see the city in a slightly different way. Last month I blogged about Keri's exercise 75. I decided to put two the two ideas together and came up with this. It's a picture of the padlock tied to a railing on the same bridge that I originally saw it. I'm still pretty new to guerilla art, but I'm liking the sensation. The feeling that somebody will stumble across something you've made and send it or point it out to someone else. Are you a guerilla artist? Have you spotted any guerilla art recently? Feel free to post links / stories in the comments.

Super - I see what you were talking about... and that's a really cool photo too. Of course, the possibilities are endless - you could have dozens of images, and beyond just being like one of those cool lift mirrors, something could be happening... still, semi-cinematic guerilla art...
Loving the new design / layout by the way. Very slick.
Thanks Jay! Glad you like it, was really fun. There are loads of other exercises I want to do but I gotta pluck up the time and courage. We should play with this!
